incest prevention= iroquois women solution

- can we respect the trditional native womens experiences in prevention of many problems?

=can we learn and not always teach because white woman says shes superior, yet she has many
problems she denies there allready are solutions for= she pays for more research

= iroquois women tolerted men ony as guests in the mtriarchy communal house and lands

= at puberty, men left their mothers clan and joined mens group as full and equal adults

=can a woman in a couple, be in a position to protect herself and her child?

= iroquois women had only 2 children= spaced 5=6 year apart to give each child full care

= at 6, the child was able to join the grandmothers for one on one teaching by observing not
punishment or reward

= after childhood of freedom, at puberty the child acted mature from wanting to be accepted into the adult group

=is any issue more important than the protection of childhood from sexual exploitation=
we all want to choose our own partners= so why not children have a choice?

-indian men never approaached a woman- only the women were allowed to approach the men
because the woman is weaker pysically and woulld fear say no to request.
= can you vote on this?
=easy solutions =hear native women wisdom of thousands of years of experience.thanks.
